- Recipient cannot open 7Z? Repack with RAR to ZIP for universal tools.
- Need to share 7Z with Windows users? They may need 7-Zip or a compatible extractor.
- Already have ZIP? 7Z to ZIP goes the other direction when ZIP is required.

When RAR to 7Z is the right call
Choose RAR→7Z when you control both sides of the backup and want smaller archives. Prefer ZIP when recipients use built-in OS extractors only.
