How we review conversions

Our pages describe what the converter actually does. We verify the route, processing mode, output, and the checks users should make before deleting a source file.

What to check

  1. 1 Compare the result with the original before deleting or sharing anything.
  2. 2 Check content, layout, timing, fonts, or folder structure that matters to your workflow.
  3. 3 Keep the source file as a backup because some format-specific features cannot transfer.

Privacy

Local pairs stay on your device.

Server-side source files are deleted immediately after a successful conversion. If conversion fails, the source file is retained for up to one hour for error diagnosis and then deleted automatically.

Limits and updates

File formats can contain features that do not transfer completely. The verification date shown on a conversion page is the most recent date that pair passed a real conversion and output check; it changes only after another passing test. We revise the guidance when known limits or capabilities change.
