Privacy Policy

AnyConv365 provides free online file conversion for documents, images, video, audio, and PDFs, with a focus on privacy and no signup required.

File conversion

Server-side source files are deleted immediately after a successful conversion. If conversion fails, the source file is retained for up to one hour for error diagnosis and then deleted automatically.

Log data

For security, operations, abuse prevention, and aggregate service analysis, we may record IP address (IPv4 or IPv6), user agent, page path without query parameters, referrer without query parameters, Cloudflare country code, a pseudonymous device ID, and the time a page remains visible and focused. Access and dwell-time logs are retained for up to 14 days and then rotated or deleted.

Browser storage

Language, theme, and recent tools are stored in browser localStorage. Pending conversion files may be held briefly in local IndexedDB. We also store a first-party anyconv_device_id cookie for up to one year to recognize the same browser and associate access and dwell-time records with Google Analytics 4. Clearing site cookies resets this ID. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and site usage. We provide the same pseudonymous browser ID as the GA4 client_id; Google may process approximate location, browser and device information, visited page paths, and interactions under its privacy policy and our Analytics retention settings. We do not send filenames, file contents, or URL query parameters to Analytics, and do not use this data for personalized advertising on this site.

Analytics storage is disabled until you actively allow it. If you decline, we do not create or read a persistent analytics device ID; Google Analytics may receive limited cookieless signals for aggregate measurement and modeling. Your choice is stored for six months in a necessary first-party preference cookie and can be changed from “Privacy settings” in the footer.
