Convert M3U8 to MP4 for offline playback
Turn HLS M3U8 playlists into a single MP4 for downloads, editors, and uploads with AnyConv365.
Updated 2026-09-02
M3U8 is an HLS playlist that points at video segments. Many phones, editors, and upload forms expect a single MP4 file instead.
Quick steps
- Open M3U8 to MP4.
- Upload a .m3u8 file, paste an http(s) playlist URL, or upload a ZIP containing a local playlist and all of its segments in their original relative folders.
- Download the MP4 when remuxing finishes.
Large MP4 results are handed directly to your browser instead of being cached as a second full copy inside the page. Check the browser’s download list while this page continues to show progress. After a complete download, Download again remains available for about 10 minutes; a result that has not started downloading remains available for about 1 hour after conversion.
Tips
- Have a WebM clip instead? Try WebM to MP4.
- Coming from iPhone MOV? Use MOV to MP4.

When M3U8 to MP4 is the right call
Use M3U8→MP4 when you need offline playback, editing, or an upload form that rejects streaming playlists. Paste a public playlist URL, or upload a file whose segments use absolute http(s) links.
This path uses AnyConv365 servers with FFmpeg so playlist segments can be fetched and packed into one MP4. Downloads use the next available transfer slot, so do not click repeatedly while one is waiting.
