AnyConv365 helps you convert DWG files to PDF without installing software. Open this page, choose your file, and download the result.

This DWG to PDF path is especially useful for sharing and printing drawings without requiring CAD software. Keep the source file so you can return to features the target format cannot store.

Built for exchanging drawings between CAD packages, plotters, and review PDFs. SVG, PNG, and PDF output is fitted to the visible drawing and keeps supported fills and outlines. Supported round outlines and labels on saved sheets are processed automatically; no extra settings are needed. Complex files can take longer and produce larger PDFs; keep this page open while conversion finishes, then check every page after downloading. For drawings with tables, select PDF to keep supported table borders and text. If the saved sheet is empty, SVG uses the visible drawing instead. Unused blocks are not added to the result. Check drawing positions, dimension labels, and title blocks on every page before sharing. If the main drawing appears too small on the saved sheet, a larger overview is shown beside the original layout. Light text and lines are darkened for easier reading; zoom in to check small labels. After conversion, check the drawing and text on every page; confirm the scale before printing. In PDFs, also check material patterns, dashed lines and dimension labels. Also check any labels repeated along a line. Check the width of broad lines too. Layout pages follow the drawing’s visibility settings; the complete model pages retain the geometry. For encrypted drawings, ask the file owner to provide a decrypted copy before uploading. For drawings with cylindrical, conical or spherical surfaces, choose PDF; supported curved outlines are handled automatically. If a shape cannot be preserved, conversion stops and explains the problem. Original fonts are used when available; otherwise a similar font is used. Crowded small dimension labels move outside their lines and keep a connecting line. Small details with curved edges are preserved automatically. In PDFs, the main drawing is kept large and independent details or distant guides are grouped on supplemental pages. Pale text and lines are darkened for white paper; check every page. Print layouts match the saved sheets. Choose all content to add drawing lines outside those sheets. Drawings without print layouts still export normally. Choose PNG for an image preview. Common closed regions are handled automatically; you do not need to split them first. Wide dashed lines keep their width and labels automatically. Zoom in after downloading to check them. This drawing links to a separate image that is unavailable. Embed the image in your drawing software and upload a saved copy, or export a complete PDF there. PNG and SVG include every drawing page in one overview; PDF keeps separate pages. Content outside drawing borders is kept. Use SVG or PDF to zoom into small details. If a shape cannot be preserved, conversion stops instead of removing it. Choose PDF for drawings with many dimensions. Dimension labels are handled automatically; zoom in to check small labels after downloading. Special symbols use the matching drawing font when available. Connected drawings keep their overall layout, links and one scale; borders, titles and notes stay in their original positions. Independent sheets within a saved layout get separate pages; connected diagrams stay together. Original multiline spacing is preserved, and reserved gaps between text and tables are adjusted automatically. Check symbols and print scale after downloading. Choose PDF to keep supported pictures saved inside the drawing, such as logos and signatures. If a picture is missing or damaged, conversion stops and tells you. Chinese text in supported pictures is handled automatically. Check labels and numbers after downloading. Independent sheets keep separate pages. Extra enlarged views may show small drawings or overlapping pictures more clearly; source pages keep their original appearance. Use source pages to check print scale. Dense hatch patterns, including detailed stone and mosaic patterns, are preserved automatically and may take longer to convert. Zoom in after downloading to check their strokes and gaps. When one main drawing dominates, a few detached frames and notes are arranged compactly below it without enlargement. Every frame and note is retained, including repeated frames. Other substantial drawings keep their own pages. Include extra drawing lines: Outside existing drawing pages, independent content is enlarged on extra review pages. Small fragments are arranged in a grid; every shape is retained. Each group has its own display scale. Use the original drawing pages to check print scale. Dashed lines keep their dash lengths and gaps automatically. You do not need to change them to solid lines first; zoom in after downloading to check them. Symbols along lines use the matching drawing font when available. Dense dashed lines are preserved automatically and may take longer. PNG shows an overview; use PDF to inspect tiny dash details. Tolerance values keep their upper and lower rows automatically. After downloading, zoom in to check both values and their decimal points. PDF pages automatically reduce excess blank space while retaining drawings and labels. Connected content stays together. Where possible, PDF puts the main drawing first and keeps a few labels from otherwise empty pages below it. Fine lines in SVG may look faint when zoomed out. Download the file and zoom in to check them. Older superscript notation, such as square metres, is handled automatically when supported. If the original font is missing, a compatible text style may be used. Check superscripts and notes after downloading. Choose PDF for STEP/STP or IGES/IGS models to get four static views: isometric, front, right and top. Views follow the model axes and show its shape as images; they are not dimensioned drawings or interactive 3D models. Radius and arc-length labels are processed automatically using their saved appearance. If a shape is reported as unsupported, convert it to ordinary drawing objects in the original CAD app, save, and upload again. Leader notes and their solid arrowheads are processed automatically; check the arrows and notes in the downloaded file. Choose PDF to keep supported smooth curves, including those saved by older drawing software. No extra settings are needed; check curved details after downloading. If a symbol font link is missing, a uniquely matching font declared in the drawing can be used. Check slope lines and other special symbols after downloading. Some Tianzheng drawings can be converted to PDF directly when the complete drawing is saved in the file. No extra settings are needed. Check every page, including text, dimensions and fills. If conversion fails, export a PDF from the original drawing software.

DWG to PDF Conversion Guide

How it works

Is DWG to PDF conversion free?

Yes. AnyConv365 lets you convert DWG to PDF online for free with no account required.

Will my file quality be preserved?

We aim for the best practical fidelity for each pair. Preview the download before sharing when quality is critical.

Do you store my files?

Server-side source files are deleted immediately after a successful conversion. If conversion fails, the source file is retained for up to one hour for error diagnosis and then deleted automatically.

Can every PDF become editable DOCX?

Text-based PDFs convert much more cleanly. Scanned image-only PDFs usually need OCR first.

Will CAD scale stay exact in PDF?

Verify dimensions in your CAD viewer after conversion when precision is contractual.

Where can I learn more about this conversion?

See our guide: DWG to PDF Conversion Guide. It covers when to convert, common pitfalls, and related formats.

What to check

Privacy: Server-side source files are deleted immediately after a successful conversion. If conversion fails, the source file is retained for up to one hour for error diagnosis and then deleted automatically.

  1. 1 Compare the result with the original before deleting or sharing anything.
  2. 2 Check content, layout, timing, fonts, or folder structure that matters to your workflow.
  3. 3 Keep the source file as a backup because some format-specific features cannot transfer.
